She spent a decade as a nationally recognized columnist for Make and Craft magazines and wrote The Good Life Lab, winner of the Nautilus Book Award for Sustainability and Lifestyle. Before that, she worked as a conceptual artist with projects that included the anti-war action No Bush and the textile swap event Swap-O-Rama-Rama, which drew coverage from CNN, BBC, the New York Times and outlets around the world. At HEY JOE MEDIA, Wendy builds messaging for climate and criminal justice reform clients, including Climate Power and Women on the Rise.
