Client Needs:
The Arizona Justice Project needed two client-centered videos featuring formerly incarcerated people who were either wrongly convicted or unjustly sentenced. These videos were to commemorate Wrongful Conviction Day 2023 and to present at AJP’s annual fundraising gala.
Our Approach:
HEY JOE MEDIA undertook a compassionate and empathetic approach to meet AJP’s needs:
Interviews:
Our video production team interviewed nearly 20 of AJP's clients who had been released from prison over the past 10 years. The interviews were conducted with care and sensitivity, leveraging the unique perspective of HEY JOE MEDIA’s Joe Watson, who is also formerly incarcerated.
Efficient Production:
Our videographer and editors efficiently captured all necessary footage with minimal disruption to AJP's clients.
